Biography

Lyndsay Mann works in diverse media, including sculpture, installation and text, with video, sound & video-performance
becoming an increasingly significant part of her practice. She has recently been awarded VAA funding to assist with the
second video in her series The DILATE Archive. A new text, Object Rehersals by Kerstin Mey, about this work and
Mann's broader practice, has been commissioned & printed by Stills gallery.

2009 exhibitions include Dense Mouth (solo show), FOUR gallery, Dublin, Heavy Influence, Edinburgh Art Festival,
Echo Echo, at the Supermarket art fair, Stockholm and Imagine a Spectacle, Bloomsbury Theatre, London.
Recent residencies include Stills gallery, Edinburgh 2008/09 and the International Studio, TBG&S, Dublin 2008.

Lyndsay Mann studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art in London.
She is currently based in Edinburgh.
